The receptionist position is a full time and permanant position in the hotel. You will be part of the communications hub of the hotel so a good command of english is essential and we would prefer someone with a knowledge of the local area. General IT skills would be an advantage and previous reception experience would be an advantage but not essential as full training will be given. The member of waiting staff is a full time and permanent position in the hotel. As a front of house position – a good command of the English language is essential and we would prefer someone with a knowledge of the local area. You must be 18year old plus, due to serving alcoholic beverages. Previous experience will definitely give you an advantage but training will be given to the right candidate. Ideally we are looking for a team player with a good sense of humour and a great personality who shines.

Duties:-
To give great service to our guests in the Sovereigns Restaurant, serving guests breakfast, dinner and lunch occasionally. You will assist in serving food and alcoholic beverages to our guests, clear and re-set the restaurant and general cleaning duties.

Requires a Part Time Bar Server

This position is based on part time hours to be agreed with the employer. We require a flexible person to assist our small but busy bar team working a few bar shifts such as 11-2pm or 5-10pm. We require an outgoing person who has a great personality and willing to go the extra mile for our guests. Ideally you will have had some bar experience but training will be given to the right person. As serving food in the bar will be a major part of your duties experience in this will be beneficial.

Duties:-
You will be required to serve drinks and food to our guests in our Ness Bar in a friendly and efficient manner. You will clear and re-set the bar when necessary, change kegs, re-stock the bar and handle and be responsible for the cash in the bar till when on duty.

Full Time – Assistant House Keeper

Must posses experience at a supervisory level. To supervise effective bedroom cleaning, servicing and maintenance, ensuring sufficient rooms are ready to meet daily guest demands. Assist the House Manager with the control of ordering, receipt, storage, quality checks, stock levels and use of linen, cleaning materials and sundry items. Help organise the issue and cleaning of staff uniforms and protective clothing. Assist with staff training. Allocate tasks and check results against set standards. Help to control departmental costs and expenses within budget margins.
Conduct regular staff briefings. Complete the required administrative functions. Assist with producing work rotas and holiday schedules. Ensure effective security of keys and property

Part Time and Casual – Food and Beverage Operatives

Must be 18 years plus, due to serving alcoholic beverages. To give quality service, both to customers and colleagues. To prepare and maintain food or beverage service area, serve food and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages in restaurant or bar (whichever area, designated to on that shift) to standards specified by the hotel and department, adhering to company and statutory regulations.

Leisure Attendant

Fully qualified fitness instructor required for the Otium Leisure Department, experience essential, NPLQ and first aid qualifications desirable but not essential.
